Over the decades, many dozens of hard working people have helped make Cady’s Falls Nursery what it is today. We are especially grateful to our two stalwart employees of many years, Nate Purich and Barb Newhall. Now, with the nursery shrinking, and Barb and Nate working only part time, they are looking for outside gardening work. Both are old-fashioned hard workers. They both garden at home, they know plants and they know dirt. You are welcome to contact them any time here at the nursery.

Barb Newhall has been with us for 21 years. She mothers all the potted plants and is the only one who knows the history of every plant for the last five years, including the small army of invalids which she has hauled home to her own garden. She lifts weights and runs several miles before work. We couldn’t live without her.
Nate Purich has been with us for 15 years. Nate tills and hoes the fields, keeps the gardens up to snuff, keeps the compost piles hot and divides perennials for days on end. He was twice national wrestling champion in high school, before he started chasing the Grateful Dead. Now he raises goats.
