    The showy ladyslipper is the queen of the garden but there are many other garden-worthy species of Cypripedium as well as numerous beautiful hybrids. The species are broadly distributed in the northern hemisphere and they hybridize readily as long as pollen is available when the flowers are receptive. Hybrid cyps often produce vigorous plants of outstanding beauty. Our stock of the hybrids is still quite low and we produce them vegetatively in very small numbers. Please consult our current catalog or contact us for availability.
